How Commerce OS uses your Google data.
Connecting Google is optional. When you choose to connect your Google account, Commerce OS requests only the read-only permissions it needs to show your search and marketing performance. You can disconnect at any time from Settings, which revokes access.
Google Search Console
Read-onlyRead your site's search-performance data - queries, clicks, impressions, and average position - to surface SEO opportunities and generate content recommendations. Commerce OS never modifies your Search Console property.
Google Analytics 4
Read-onlyRead traffic and conversion metrics so your dashboard can report how organic and paid channels contribute to revenue. No analytics settings or data are ever changed.
Google Ads

Commerce OS's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google data is used only to provide the features described above, is stored encrypted at rest, is never sold, and is never used for advertising or transferred except as needed to provide the service or as required by law.
